NAAG’s Antitrust Project works to facilitate communication among the Offices of Attorneys General and their staffs, and monitors legislative and regulatory developments in antitrust. The Project hosts an annual Seminar for Attorneys General and their staff and a portion of this Seminar is open to the public.
NAAG Antitrust Committee
NAAG’s 2006-2007 Antitrust Committee is chaired by Attorney General Mark J. Bennett of Hawaii. Attorney General Hardy Myers of Oregon is the Vice-Chair.
Executive Working Group for Antitrust
Each spring, the Antitrust Chair convenes a meeting of the Executive Working Group (EWG-A) for Antitrust. This working group consists of Attorneys General on the Antitrust Committee, the chair of the Federal Trade Commission, and the Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice.
NAAG Multistate Task Force
The Antitrust Project also supports the work of NAAG’ s Multistate Antitrust Task Force. The Task Force is chaired by Bob Hubbard, Director of Litigation in the Antitrust Bureau of the Office of the Attorney General of New York. The Task Force coordinates multistate antitrust litigation.
