Emily Pace, Specialized Units & Public Protection Division

Emily Pace puts her organizational skills to use as the new project assistant for three areas within NAAG’s Specialized Units & Public Protection Division: cyberspace law, bankruptcy, and energy and environment. In this role, she coordinates logistics for National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute trainings and other conferences, formats and edits publications such as the Cybercrime e-newsletter and E-Discovery Bulletin, attends Capitol Hill hearings and performs other administrative duties.

Since arriving at NAAG last August, Emily has planned three NAGTRI trainings and is currently working on three more. “It’s such a sense of accomplishment to see one of these trainings all the way through. And it’s always great to see how much a successful training can really help the assistant attorney generals with their work.”

During her time here, Emily hopes to expand her knowledge of the law and continue to build her professional skills before attending graduate school. Previously, she worked at a non-profit teaching civics to high school students who visited Washington, D.C.

A recent graduate of Georgetown University, this North Carolina native completed a major in French and a minor in Arabic. Emily is an avid reader and enjoys a wide range of genres including postmodern and contemporary fiction, history, biographies, popular science and linguistics. Her other hobbies include horseback riding, baking and art.
