Sign-On Letters

Sign-On letters are policy-oriented letters that are sent to members of Congress or Congressional committees expressing the viewpoint of the signatories.

Letters expressing the views of AGs on policy-related matters, generally regarding federal legislation, will be posted in this section for public comment for the time period indicated.. After the comment period, the letter will be removed but the notation listing the topic of the letter and the dates of the comment period will remain. The final letter signed by the Attorneys General will be listed in the archives section, which will show the most recent letters at the top. Thank you for providing feedback to the Attorneys General.

This site enables the public to review these letters and post comments allowing AG offices the ability to obtain feedback.
