Barbara is executive director of the National Association of Medicaid Fraud Control Units (NAMFCU) which represents the 53 state and territory Medicaid Fraud Control Units. NAMFCU was founded in 1978 to provide information about Medicaid fraud and resident abuse investigations and prosecutions and to provide technical assistance and training to its member Units. Prior to joining NAMFCU, Barbara was legal editor of Aspen Systems Corporation’s Hospital Law Manual.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio and a law degree from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas.
