Washington, D.C. — The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) is holding a three-day consumer protection conference to address pressing and relevant issues. The private, nonprofit and government sectors are invited to attend the public portion of the conference on Monday, May 20.
There will be a panel consisting of seven attorneys general discussing important consumer protection issues. The plenary sessions will also include the following topics: Privacy and Big Data-The Short and Long Term Horizon; Robocalls-Recent Developments in Enforcement and Technology; and Cryptocurrencies.
The plenary portion will conclude with a private sector open mic. FCC Chairman Ajit Pai will also provide remarks on efforts to combat robocalls. The public portion of the conference includes lunch and an evening reception.
