Washington, D.C. — The National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), the training and research arm of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG), has launched an online learning platform for attorney general staff.
NAGTRI Online offers on-demand courses, as well as recordings of previous NAGTRI webinars, and webinars from partners and affiliates. The platform will allow attorney general staff to gain new skills in an easily accessible manner. Courses include additional resources to allow staff to continue their learning on the subject matter.
Courses currently available for on-demand learning cover a variety of topics, including: antitrust, consumer protection and charities, COVID-19, human trafficking, hate crimes, law enforcement, principles of managerial leadership, the Supreme Court, and wellness and mental health.
“NAGTRI’s strategic plan envisions creating an online equivalent to its renowned in-person trainings, and NAGTRI Online is the culmination of the first part of these efforts,” said NAGTRI Director Amy Tenney Curren. “In the coming months and years, NAGTRI Online will continue to provide new and exciting opportunities to further the learning opportunities for the government legal community.”
New and original content will be developed on an ongoing basis by NAAG staff. Courses that are eligible for continuing learning education credit will be added in the future.
Created in 2007, NAGTRI’s mission is to provide high-quality, non-partisan, and innovative training, research, and other developmental resources to support state and territorial attorneys general offices.
To access the platform, attorney general staff should contact support@naag.org.
