Case Description
Florida sought an injunction and civil penalties, alleging that the defendant dredging companies conspired to rig bids and allocate contracts for various dredging projects throughout the state. In order to resolve the dispute without further litigation, the parties entered a settlement agreement in which the defendant dredging companies paid $4,235,000 in civil penalties, investigative costs and attorney’s fees.
