Case Description
State sought permanent injunctive relief, alleging that Defendant, Mahoning County Medical Society entered into agreements among physicians to suppress HMOs by refusing to grant them discounts or other terms of assistance to a prepaid plan. In order to resolve the dispute without further litigation, Defendant agreed to permanently refrain from entering agreements, preventing, interfering with or refusing to deal with any contract or other relationship between any facility, organization, group or entity and its actual or potential customers because it is a prepaid plan.
