Maria Humayun joined NAGTRI in October 2018 as the NAGTRI policy and strategy intern, where she conducted research, assisted with NAGTRI programs, and analyzed data. She was promoted to senior program coordinator in June 2021. Maria was previous a NAGTRI program assistant and NAGTRI program specialist. Maria has been instrumental in supporting various NAGTRI initiatives and projects during her time with NAGTRI.

Maria is a graduate of American University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with concentrations in Peace, Global Security, and Conflict Resolution, and Justice, Ethics, and Human Rights.
